SEA LIFE Cornish Seal Sanctuary, Gweek – Penguin Enclosure

This was a full turnkey project; from the initial design concept to completion. In order to begin construction we first had to demolish an old redundant seal pool to free up the space for the new feature. Once the demolition was complete and the footings were laid we began building the perimeter wall and started on the inside of the enclosure. Soon after came the timber walkways and the glazing of the windows. Our engineers also designed and installed a water filtration system including a copper dosing system to counter algae growth. Overall this project ran for approx 3 months.
